In Another Time, We’d Be Lovers is a large-scale mixed media painting from my Dark Skies Collection, a body of work exploring stillness, distance, and emotional depth.

Created through layered applications of texture paste, acrylic, oil paint, and oil pastel, the surface holds a quiet physicality that fills any room with a sense of calm energy. Subtle illumination emerges through deep, moody passages, suggesting water, atmosphere, and remembered light without resolving into a fixed place. Scraped and veiled textures slow the eye, allowing the work to unfold gradually and remain open to interpretation.
